Return to Teaching

Do you have Qualified Teacher Status in an EBacc subject? Have you had a career break, or been working in an alternative career, and are interested in returning to teaching?

Well, St. Peter’s Catholic School could help you get back into the classroom. We are part of the Return to Teaching Programme which means we can offer you a bespoke and personalised training programme to help you with the transition of moving back into teaching. Whether it be guiding you through National Curriculum changes or supporting you with classroom practice and pedagogy, our experienced and enthusiastic staff will help you every step of the way.

Places are available from January onwards in the following subjects: English, History, Geography, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages and Science.

The programme is free and is completely flexible so that it can fit around your commitments. You may want to join us for a block of time intensively or commit an afternoon a week over a longer period of time. We can adapt the programme to suit you.
